You could make a real difference to a young person’s future.

Work experience and supported internships can help young people build confidence, develop practical workplace skills and take important steps towards employment.

We’re looking to build relationships with local employers who are open to giving our learners these valuable opportunities.

You don’t need to have offered a placement before. Our team can work with you to find an opportunity that works for your organisation and provide support throughout.

We are so excited to host our Seen & Supported meetup for our ADHD & AuDHD community!

Join us for a relaxed coffee morning at Mortons Farm Tearooms on Tuesday 8th September (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM).

🌿 MEETING YOU WHERE YOU'RE AT - Whether you are formally diagnosed, self-identified, or simply curious and exploring next steps, you are welcome in this space.

🌿 HOME-FROM-HOME FEEL - Not a cold, corporate venue, just a comfortable, low-pressure setting to relax at your own pace.

🌿 PRIVATE OPENING - So you won't have to compete with loud coffee machines, background music, or busy crowds.

🌿 NO PRESSURE - No icebreakers or forced introductions.

🌿 FRIENDLY FACES - Stella (Seen & Supported) and India (Portland Assessments @ Portland College) will both be around for casual chats on late diagnosis, diagnostic assessments, parenting ND kids, and accessing support.

🌿 ACCESSIBLE AND INCLUSIVE - Free parking on-site & no formal diagnosis required.

🌿 100% FREE - Tickets are completely free (capped at 15 to keep the space peaceful).

We kindly ask that you buy a drink or yummy treat while you're with us as a small thank you to the team at Morton’s for opening their wonderful space to host our community.

Our goal for the morning is that you leave:

👍🏻Feeling completely seen, supported, and understood
👍🏻Clear on practical support pathways if you're looking for next steps
👍🏻Or simply just having made a new friend who truly gets it - and gets you!

🎟️ Reserve your free spot here before they all go: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/adhd-audhd-community-meetup-seen-supported-tickets-1997779828245?aff=MySocial

🗓️ Can’t make this one? Drop a comment with days or times that suit you better - we’ll bear this in mind for future meetups!

Looking forward to welcoming you,

They enjoyed volunteering at Portland so much, they came back for a third visit!

A huge thank you to the fantastic VF Nottingham Credit Control team for once again giving their time to support Portland Charity last month.

The team didn’t let the hot weather slow them down, working hard across our main campus to ensure everything looked its best ahead of this year’s Graduation and Awards celebration. As temperatures rose in the afternoon, they headed over to support our Horticulture team, helping with weeding and clearing outdoor spaces.

We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support and the difference you make. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
