What a lovely morning here at Cornwater Evergreens! Members, volunteers and staff all tried their hands at teacup flower arranging ☕️💐(Even our Chef got involved!)

A happy morning full of laughter and smiles. A great way to get the creative juices flowing, and a lasting keepsake to drink your morning cuppa from ☕️

S H E - S E L L S - S E A - S H E L L S 🐚

Today our members, along with some of our mini volunteers crafted some beautiful shell photo frames with shells collected by our smallest volunteer Evie, aged 2! 🐚

These shells were collected from Cleethorpes, however members reminisced about their own childhood holidays and similar beach activities 💕

A F T E R N O O N - T E A 🫖☕️🍰🧁

Members from our Rainworth and Kirkby outreach groups came together this week for a social Afternoon Tea! Complete with quiz, raffle and musical entertainment from the wonderful Hillary!

A special thank you to our fantastic volunteers for their continued support, enabling us to enjoy events such as this. A day of smiles all round! 🥰

Cornwater Evergreens supports local older people with friendship, activities, hot meals, laughter and a warm welcome each week. For many of our members, our clubs are one of the few regular chances they have to get out, see friendly faces and feel part of the community.

O U T • A N D • A B O U T 🚌🍽️

Today, with the support of Ravenshead Community Transport our members took a trip to The White Post for lunch! 🍽️

'What a lovely change' one member remarked about the day. 'These buses are a credit to the village (and surrounding areas)'

For one of our members it was the first time she'd been on a bus in years. The accessible service and kind volunteer drivers have given her more confidence to use community transport in the future 🚌

A big thank you to everyone who made today's outing possible 🧡

The shining sun plus crafting with friends has put everyone in a happy and relaxed mood 🌞
