Congratulations to the chair of our trustees, Elaine Moulton, who has been given an award by The High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire "in recognition of great and valuable services to the community. Back in 2013, it was Elaine's idea to inaugurate the Community Food Bank . She has also been actively involved in the St Johns Outreach Project, which has been renovating the St Johns Church Hall and promoting it as a space for community groups and activities.

Just before our AGM on Thursday 15th May 2026, the Food Bank held a planting ceremony. An arbutus tree donated by the Food Bank and a rose bush donated by one of our volunteers, Joan, were planted in memory of Gail Rigley who sadly passed away, earlier this year. Gail was a great friend and supporter of the Food Bank and she is much missed. Picture are the Rev. Hazel Robinson, with Joan and with Gail's husband Alan.
