Every year we help over 450,000 young people in the UK enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Working alongside our youth members are thousands of adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available.

Hi everyone,

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is on Tuesday 20th October 2026 from 18:45 so we can reflect on what has happened with the group and its future. We will also be hosting our Macmillan coffee evening (no set price just donations) plus games and a raffle.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can only happen because of volunteers in our community. We are currently looking for a few extra pairs of hands to help out - whether that's joining in the fun on Tuesday evenings, helping out at occasional weekend camps, or assisting behind the scenes with kit or admin.

We restart tomorrow (8th September) for all sections at the same time of 7pm-8.30pm

Can we please ask that you log into your child's Online Scout Manager (OSM) account and check that all their personal details are correct especially medical, allergies and emergency contact details.

Going to be a warm one tonight - perfect weather for a water fight!

Please make sure that children bring a towel and spare clothes for after the water fun and please make sure your child has suitable clothing, footwear, googles, sun hat and they have suncream on before they come to the church hall.

Something a bit different that the members of the group have been working on with one of our new adult volunteers... music and AI

Their brief was to write a word, phrase, sentance, poem or short story that could be turned into song lyrics and get the song published so it could be streamed in the future

Hoping our Cubs and Scouts are enjoying Spring Bank Scout & Guide Camp, Drum Hill Campsite, Derbyshire. A HUGE thank you to the adult volunteers who give up their own time to give young people these amazing experiences 🙏🏻
