With the ATC, you have the opportunity to do things that others only dream of. We’re located in the Central and East Region, Trent Wing.

1208 (Warsop) Squadron is part of the Air Training Corps, which operates under the umbrella of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets. Our motto, Pride and Achievement, drives us to offer a wide range of activities, including leadership, first aid, STEM, drill, DofE, and much more. We take pride in everything we do! Our cadets have the opportunity to attend camps, meet other young people from across the country, and make lifelong friends. The ATC is supported by Adult Volunteers and Committee Members, all of whom are trained in safeguarding and various areas of cadet training. While not all volunteers have a military background, we share a common goal: empowering young people to succeed. If you would like to join us as a cadet or adult volunteer please email us at [email protected]

More badges for our cadets!

Congratulations to 15 of our new recruits and main squadron cadets who have recently completed their Blue Space Award! For some of our new recruits, this is their second badge in just over a month, a fantastic start to their cadet journey! 👏

🪐 From our own atmosphere to the outer solar system! Our cadets explored planets, the Moon and orbits, and went right back to where it all began - the formation of the universe!

And this is just the start of their journey towards gaining a BTEC in Space Studies!

Well done to:
⭐ Sgt Bray and Cdts Barlow, Crowch, Davis, Dawson, Elliott-Reynolds, Hodgson, Lamb, Meads, Miles, Olusegun R, Singleton, Walker, Watkins and Wijiuw.

Another achievement to be proud of and another badge for your brassards. Keep up the great work! 🚀

🎉 Congratulations to Cadet Corrigan! 🎉

A huge well done to Cadet Corrigan, who successfully completed his Bronze Leadership Course last weekend! 👏

The course provided a fantastic opportunity to step outside his comfort zone, develop his confidence and strengthen his leadership skills. He rose to the challenge and should be incredibly proud of what he’s achieved!

We’re all very proud of you, Corrigan! Keep pushing yourself and building on this fantastic achievement! 💪

REFLECTING ON NATIONAL CADETS WEEK 2026 ✈️

This time last week, the first ever National Cadets Week was drawing to a close, following a week celebrating the incredible experiences, opportunities and achievements that make the Cadet Forces so special!

At 1208 (Warsop) Squadron, we’re incredibly proud to be part of the RAF Air Cadets, helping young people build confidence, develop new skills, form friendships and discover what they’re capable of achieving.

Throughout National Cadets Week, we invited our cadets, new recruits, parents and adult volunteers to reflect on their experiences and share what the RAF Air Cadets means to them.

And who better to tell you about the RAF Air Cadets than the people who experience it themselves?

Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing their thoughts, experiences and stories, in their own words, before rounding off our celebration with some familiar faces!

Keep an eye on our page to discover what makes being part of 1208 Squadron so special! ✈️
