SignHealth is holding a Domestic Abuse Awareness Workshop for Deaf and hard of hearing LGBTQ+ people in Manchester.

🤟 Delivered in BSL, with interpreters available for non-BSL users
👥 Open to anyone aged 16+

The workshop will cover healthy relationships, warning signs of abuse, consent and boundaries, protecting yourself and support available in BSL.

🎉 Manchester Deaf Centre is celebrating 180 years this year!

As part of our Heritage Project, we're creating a community timeline and we'd love your ideas on what should be included. 💭

Our Heritage Project Steering Group volunteer, Sam, explains how you can get involved and share your memories, stories, people, events and milestones that have shaped MDC over the years.

Thanks to the funding by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this project is possible!

📌 If you're visiting MDC over the next few months, simply add your idea to the display using a Post-it note.

Everyone is welcome to take part, whether you're Deaf, hard of hearing, hearing, a CODA, family member, volunteer, staff member or supporter.

Let's celebrate 180 years of community history together! 🐝
