Watch the brand new trailer for TAKKUUK - now on tour worldwide ⚡️⚡️⚡️

TAKKUUK, meaning “look closely” in Inuktitut, is an experimental documentary and audio-visual work by Zak Norman and Charlie Miller, co-created with electronic duo BICEP and seven Indigenous Arctic collaborators as part of the In Place of War EarthSonic initiative.

Filmed across Greenland and Sápmi using infrared cinematography, the film centres on Indigenous cultural identity, language and knowledge systems shaped by ongoing colonial histories. The soundtrack from BICEP was released in 2025 and is available now on all major streaming platforms.

We’re proud to announce TAKKUUK will be part of this year’s Sheffield DocFest Official Selection - screening 12 & 14 June at the festival.
