We are OPEN from for Playout Group every Sunday 12pm - 3pm & Volunteering from 11am - 4pm and Tuesdays Gardening club 12 pm - 3pm & Volunteering from 11am - 4pm. City South (now One Manchester) donated some of their wasteland to be transformed into a community garden. Our aim is to get as many local people growing food, herbs, flowers, fruit & veg and more. We run workshops to share knowledge and show the potential of permaculture and sustainable living. We have eco-buildings, with a large green roof on our hub building, a reciprocal roundhouse built using timber from the site, a pizza oven and a composting toilet. For wildlife, we have created beautiful pond, wildflower patch, many mature trees and many wild corners for birds, insects and amphibians.
