The Malvern Cube is a leading community centre for all with a focus on youth engagement.

In late 2010 a group of local residents began a campaign to save Malvern’s Youth Centre from closure by Worcestershire County Council. The Malvern Community Collective (MCC) campaigned vigorously against the closure of this valued community space and by Summer 2011, Malvern Town Council and Malvern Hills District Council pledged their support to the Collective’s plan to take over the running of the centre from Worcestershire County Council. On 1st May 2012, the MCC (now known as the Malvern Youth and Community Trust Limited (MYCT)) took over the running of the Malvern Cube at a peppercorn rent for the next 30 years.

Introducing Karen Argent – Inspired by Books

During lockdown, Karen started to experiment with free style embroidery and was inspired by the beautiful art of many book jackets in her personal collection. These are two very different examples of her work, each took several days to complete.

Introducing Sue Thornbird – The Crow Fields.

Sue is a mixed media artist, focusing on woodburning, painting and drawing. She's mainly interested in the natural world/wildlife, but also incorporates mythology and story telling into her work.

We’re getting into the Halloween spirit here at the Café with spooky tunes and cosy, homemade goodness! 🎃

Sue is a keen amateur painter in acrylics and oils. She likes to capture moments of shiver, in both landscapes in the natural world and portraits.
