🚴‍♀️🎉 Huge congratulations to our Peddling Ambassador, Jenny Davies ! 🎉🚴‍♀️

Jenny has completed an incredible challenge for ARCOS, cycling a total of 1,518 km cycling across Devon and just finishing her marathon ride from Mizen Head to Malin Head in Ireland, covering 951 km! She’s been loving the journey and is over the moon to have raised £933 so far, including gift aid.

Her goal is to reach £1,000, and she’s so close!

If you can spare a donation to help her hit her target, it would mean the world. Every little helps!

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to The National Lottery Community Fund for generously awarding us £20,000 to support our SMILE PROJECT. The SMILE PROJECT - Social Skills Mentoring through Inclusive Learning Experiences -aims to enhance children’s communication abilities as well as their personal, social, and emotional development. It specifically supports neurodivergent and SEN children and young people by providing a welcoming, inclusive environment where they can develop essential social and communication skills.

Our comprehensive services are designed to help children flourish, with support from a dedicated team that includes a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist, and a qualified teacher.

Jenny is now on Part 2 of her Cycling Fundraising Journey in Ireland! A huge thank you to Jenny for her incredible effort, we truly appreciate your dedication.

As Jennifer shares, her motivation comes from personal experience with children, young people, and adults for whom speech is a daily challenge. She chose ARCOS, a specialised charity based in Malvern that provides speech and language therapy, rehabilitation, support, and advice for families. ARCOS also helps children and young people who struggle to access and engage with mainstream education.

Jennifer is cycling over 1,000 kilometres, aiming to raise a pound for every kilometre pedalled.

As Jennifer says - Personal experience of children, young people and adults for whom the basic human skill of speech is an every day struggle is the driving force behind my choice of ARCOS for my fundraising. ARCOS is a specialist charity based in Malvern which offers speech and language therapy, rehabilitation skills and support and advice for families. ARCOS also supports children and young people who struggle to access and engage with mainstream education. I will be cycling 1000+K with the aim of raising a pound for every pedal pounding kilometre.
