This coming weekend we're celebrating our 200th Anniversary. There's special events planned all weekend. On Saturday from 10am-4pm our church hall will be open for a special memorabilia day. You can see our different stands, purchase our Anniversary booklet and have some refreshments throughout the day. Then on Sunday 6th September at 11.30am we'll gather for our Anniversary Service with Rev Dr Janet Unsworth, President of the Methodist Church in Ireland. Also that evening there's a Circuit Anniversary Service at 7pm with Mrs Laura Griffith (Lay Leader of MCI) and supper afterwards. Everyone is warmly welcome. 🙂

THE WELL reopens tonight at 7pm. We’ll catch up, play some games, re-centre ourselves around John chapter 4 and then share some announcements about the planned youth events coming up over the next few weeks months.
Open to all 1st-6th year pupils.

Next weekend we are celebrating 200 years of witness in Lurgan, there will be a Memorabilia Exhibition on Saturday 5th Sept, displaying photos and items from people who’ve enjoyed time with our church family during those 200 years. If you have any old pictures from any of our youth organisations, adult programmes or special events then please share them with us at [email protected]

Tomorrow night we’re hosting another MCI Safeguarding Training Session from 7pm-9:15pm in the Wesley Trust Room.
This training is open to any current or future volunteers within the Methodist Church in Ireland, so come along if you’re involved in any of the youth and children’s work in our local or wider Methodist church family.

Join us this Sunday morning at 11:30am for our next Family Service as we pray for and equip our pupils and teaching staff before they head back to school.
(Thanks to SU Scotland for their resources that we’ll use together as a church family)
Creche facilities also available for babies and toddlers.

Join us tomorrow morning at 11.30am when Rev Andrew Gibson will look at Jesus calling his first Disciples from Luke ch.5. We'll focus in on one of the minor characters in the narrative. There's Creche facilities as usual and booklets for children during the service. Refreshments will be served afterwards as well. Everyone is very welcome🙂

We have had such a blessed two weeks with our Latvian guests! Worshipping together at Castlewellan Holiday Week and at our local church, hiking up Slieve Donard in the rain, exploring The Giant’s Causeway, visiting the Titanic Museum and having fun at Emerald Park. So much fun mixing discipleship and fellowship with the whole church family. We are so thankful for all who made it happen, everyone who offered support: practically, prayerfully, financially, etc.
It’s now time to reflect and celebrate all that God has done in us and with us.

Join us this morning (9th August) at 11.30am for worship as we hear from our YF group and Latvian guests about their time at Castlewellan Holiday Week.

We’ll also have our church family picnic after the service so don’t forget to pack some food.
