Re-building Futures: Prosthetic Limbs for Children & Adults in Gaza
In the Gaza Strip, devastating conflict has left children and adults with life-changing injuries. The region now has the highest number of child amputees per capita in the world.
Thousands of limbs have been lost, and the local rehabilitation infrastructure is overwhelmed.
We at Gaza Ground Aid Ireland are proud to partner with a dedicated prosthetics workshop inside Gaza. These are skilled engineers and makers, creating and fitting prosthetic limbs — by hand, under extremely difficult conditions — for children and adults alike. They also repair mobility aids, giving people back independence and dignity.
Every euro raised will go directly to supporting:
Materials (plastics, aluminium, sockets, liners, foot components) needed to craft bespoke prosthetics.
Fitting, adjustments and follow-up care to ensure the limbs work.
Repair and replacement of existing disability aids so that no one is left behind.
Together we can make a tangible difference: a child able to walk again, an adult able to return to work, a family seeing hope in a dark time. Your gift becomes a real-life limb, a second chance.

Why Your Support Matters
In Gaza, the healthcare system is broken. Many children who should have had limbs saved were forced into amputation due to delayed or impossible treatment.
Rehabilitation resources are scarce. The demand for prosthetics vastly outpaces supply.
Locally-based engineering teams offer culturally and geographically appropriate, cost-effective solutions. They know the terrain, the challenges, and the people they serve.
Transparency: We pledge that 100% of donations will go directly to the prosthetics workshop (materials + labour + repairs). We'll provide regular updates and images of progress.
