One of the things we love most about Broadway Players is that every production takes us somewhere different.

We've explored mysteries, musicals, comedy and unforgettable characters... and this October, we're stepping into a haunted theatre. 👻

But now it's over to you...

Monday Threatre Club 🎭

One of our favourite parts of creating a Broadway Players show is choosing the music. 🎶

Sometimes it's all about finding the perfect song for a character.

Sometimes it's taking two songs that couldn't be more different – a real chalk and cheese combination – and discovering they work brilliantly together.

Other times, it's weaving familiar tunes into something completely unexpected.

That's one of the joys of creating an original production. Every musical number has to help tell the story, bring the characters to life and, hopefully, leave you humming all the way home.

We won't spoil what's in store for Ghost Hunters: A Haunted Musical just yet... but let's just say there are some surprising musical pairings coming your way. 👀👻

Before the ghosts… there was a blank page. 👻📖

Ghost Hunters: A Haunted Musical started with a simple idea:

What if a group of paranormal investigators went looking for ghosts in an old theatre… and actually found them?

From there came the characters, the mystery, the comedy, the music and a story that grew into something much bigger than that first idea.

One of the things we love about creating our own productions is never quite knowing where that original spark is going to take us.

Now the words are off the page, the songs are being sung and the characters are slowly coming to life.

And trust us… there's a lot more hiding behind this particular curtain. 👀👻

You may have noticed that Friday's Encore mysteriously disappeared...

Closely followed by Monday's Theatre Club.

We'd like to say this was entirely our fault.

But given recent events, we're blaming the ghosts. 🤷‍♀️👻

Normal service will resume shortly...

This is where it all begins… 👻🎶

Before the costumes, the set, the lights and the audience, there’s a rehearsal room full of people learning new songs, trying things out, making mistakes, laughing and slowly bringing a brand-new show to life.

Ghost Hunters: A Haunted Musical is officially taking shape!

There’s still plenty of work to do, plenty of songs to learn and, knowing us, plenty of chaos still to come… 😂

But we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here’s a little peek behind the curtain at rehearsals. 👀🎭
