It was our Annual Meeting last night. Here’s our new committee (minus Hazel) with Janice continuing as President for the coming year. A lovely friendly evening which is what LEWI is all about. 😊

Photos from our April meeting, held at Trent College Long Eaton. Our speaker was Neil Hallam talking about his life from police officer to crime thriller writer with lots of interesting steps along the way. He also brought a selection of his books for sale.

Long Eaton WIwill meet for their April meeting on Tuesday 7th April. Our speaker is Neil Hallam who will be telling us all about his life from police officer to crime thriller writer. We meet at The Elms Trent College at 7.30 for 7.45 start.
Visitors are welcome with a donation of £5 to cover costs and refreshments.
We hope to see many of you there.

Members of Long Eaton WI were at a LEAMAC run workshop tonight to learn needle felting. Thanks to the LEAMAC ladies for their patience and teaching and thanks to Naomi for organising. Look at the wonderful pictures that were created.

Our March meeting on Tuesday 3rd March is a fun filled session of Broadway Boogie led by Molly. We meet at The Elms Trent College at 7.30 for a 7.45 start. Visitors are welcome, we ask for £5 per visit to cover refreshments etc.

We’re pleased to be able to help Darwin Dogs. The WI has a long history of helping local charities.

Darwin Dogs would like to say a big "Thank you" to Long Eaton WI for having us as one of your supported charities during 2025 and for the brilliant donation of £927.
I had a lovely evening with them last night and was presented with a rather large cheque 😄
