🐱 A Little Peek Into Our Rescue… ❤️

Many of you know us for our dedicated reptile rescue centre, but what some people don’t know is that we also run a cat rescue from our home.

Every single cat that comes into our care is treated as one of our own. We make sure they receive everything they need before finding their forever home:
🐾 Neutering
🐾 Microchipping
🐾 Vaccinations
🐾 Flea and worm treatment
🐾 Lots of love, care, and rehabilitation

Not every cat is suitable for rehoming, and for those special cases, we offer them a forever home with us. We’ve built a large secure catio covering most of our garden, and our rescue cats also have constant access to the entire ground floor of our home, where they can live safely and comfortably.

Looking after so many cats is incredibly rewarding, but it’s also very time-consuming and expensive. We rarely ask for help, but we’ve now reached a point where we currently have 13 cats in our care, alongside caring for and feeding a large number of stray cats in our street.

Every one of them is loved, well cared for, and receives the best we can provide. ❤️

Today, we’d like to ask our wonderful supporters if you could help us a little.

We’ve created an Amazon Wish List with the items we use every day, including the particular cat litter that works best for such a large number of cats. We would also be incredibly grateful for:
🐱 Cat food (wet or dry)
🐱 Treats
🐱 Cat litter
🐱 Toys
🐱 Any other cat supplies

If your own cat has food they no longer like or supplies you no longer need, we’d be so grateful to give them a new purpose here at the rescue.

If you’d like to donate items, we can collect anywhere around Nottingham and Derby, or we’re happy to provide our postal address if you’d prefer to send them.

Thank you so much for supporting both our reptiles and our cats. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference and helps us continue giving these animals the safe, loving lives they deserve. ❤️🐾

🦎 Thanks to a Fast Funding Community Grant from Erewash Borough Council, HF animal rescue center cic has been able to help reptiles in need.

Councillor Becca Everett recently visited the centre to see first-hand the difference the funding is making. 💚

🐍We’ve welcomed this beautiful Corn Snake into the care of HF Animal Rescue Centre. ❤️

He started his quarantine period and will receive all the care he need before being ready for his forever home.

Every new rescue adds to our daily care costs, so if you’d like to support our work, every donation—big or small—makes a huge difference.

Thank you for helping us give animals a second chance. ❤️
