Rainbow Rehoming Cat and dog rescue organisation At our Centre in Eglinton Co.

Derry/Londonderry NI we have space for approximately 15 dogs and 40 cats as well as working alongside foster families. Our cats and dogs are neutered, micro-chipped and have up to date worm, flea treatments and vaccinations (dogs also have a kennel cough vaccination). It is thanks to our caring staff and volunteers and the generosity of our supporters that we continue to find loving homes for the

cats and dogs that needed our help.

Meet DEMI & her 3 brothers....

If these kittens were tabby they would be adopted in no time BUT they are black and that means a long stay in rescue. 😌

YES ..... this is true!!!

DEMI & co rocked up at a property with their feral mother and another adult cat.

🐱🐱🏠🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

They had to be humanely trapped and sent to a foster home to be socialised. We also trapped, neutered and returned (TNR) their mother and other cat.

Thanks to the caring homeowner who stepped up to help them and until a rescue space could be found. 🙏🫶

💛💛 SPECIAL APPEAL for JACK 💛💛

When Jack's sadly passed away he lost everything!!!

His owner, home, friends, routine and all he has known for the pass 11 years. 😌

He is heartbroken 💔

HISTORY:
JACK came into our care because his owner passed away. Before she passed a friend looked after Jack and then contacted us to help.

JACK originally weighed 22kg and coming into our care he weighed 13kg. Now he's 11.4kg!!!

Well done Jack 👏👏

We definitely see a more perky and happier since his weight loss. 🤩🐾

On arrival he was a very picky eater. We think he may have been fed human food but thankfully he is slowly adapting to his new food.

He has arthritis - so the vet has started him on loxicom - we're still monitoring this.

He also has a few lumps and bumps, but the vet said there is no cause for concern.

PERSONALITY:
JACK is a livable gentledog who wants a soft seat, good food and a cuddle.

He prefers a quiet and slower pace to life.....🐾

He is most happy pottering about or a wee trot on the grass or playing with a squeaky toy.

*JACK is picky around other dogs, so living with another dog will depend on meet and greets. The dog will need to be small breed with a similar age and energy level.
