TO REPORT ANIMAL CRUELTY/NEGLECT/ANIMAL IN NEED
Please do not post reports for emergencies on our page as it is not always able to be monitored. If you suspect an animal is being neglected or abused then report it immediately to the National RSPCA’s cruelty line (separate to the branch) on 0300 1234 999. The case will need to be assessed and dealt with by a trained member of staff and, if necessary, tasked to an Inspector. You can also report cruelty online via this link:

http://www.rspca.org.uk/utilities/contactus/reportcruelty
Please answer as many questions as you can so that we can take action.

As the temperature is rising we would like to remind everyone of some very important information:
- Dogs can die in hot cars so please do not under any circumstances leave them
- Cool mats & ice treats are a great way to keep your furry friends cool
- Please put water out for wildlife such as birds, foxes & hedgehogs if you can
- When walking your dogs outside please look out for, & be very aware of, grass seeds. These are small & pointy seeds attached to the tops of long grass stems that can cause fatal injuries to dogs when inhaled
For more tips on how to help keep pets and wildlife cool in summer, and what to do if you find an animal in distress, please visit the main RSPCA page:

No dog ever died from missing a walk

If the pavement is too hot for your hand for five seconds, it’s definitely too hot for paws. During the heatwave, stick to walks at dusk and dawn to avoid burnt paw pads and heatstroke, and if in doubt, don’t go out. For further information and advice RSPCA England and Wales

A little reminder that every animal carries gentleness at heart. Toby’s a feral cat, but kindness isn’t something you need a home to learn.

Help us help them - link in our bio. We couldn’t do it without your support 🤍

When he arrived, Tatra was carrying a coat of painful mats from extreme living conditions (he came to us from a multi-cat household)

Once we gently shaved away the extra weight, something incredible happened:
his personality blossomed.

Out came the cuddles, the curiosity, the sweetness.

Your support gives cats like Tatra a new lease on life 🤍

Happy adoption week to our sweet girl Tigger who settled into her forever home earlier this week.

She came to us with blunt force trauma and pneumothorax after severe abuse from her previous owners. Yet she still has nothing but love and sweet purrs to give.

We’re so happy for you Tigger 🧡

Happy World Spay Day!! It’s not surprising that at RSPCA Central London we’re big advocates of neutering, but did you know that not only does neutering prevent unwanted litters, but it can also provide health and behavioural benefits for your furry friend?

We advocate for early age neutering (8-12 weeks) so that all our kitties are rehomed already neutered - it’s easer and less stressful for both pets and new owners.

If you or someone you know needs their cat neutered, please contact our branch at [email protected] or call us on 020 7272 2264

One of the nearly 1,400 animas our branch took in last year was gorgeous Mona who was found abandoned in a car park at just 4 weeks old in October last year. When Mona came to us, we discovered she had ringworm - a contagious disease which can easily spread.

Thanks to our staff’s excellent training and procedures, we have been able to treat Mona in isolation without the disease spreading.

Mona is otherwise a happy, healthy girl and will continue to undergo sequential 5-week treatments until we’re confident she has the all clear and can be rehomed.

Mona’s treatment to date has cost us over £400. To help us help more animals like Mona, you can donate via the link in our bio 🩷🐈‍⬛
