Mark your calendars!
On Friday and Saturday POW Workshops is opening its doors as part of Manufactory at Park Royal Design District.

Come along from 10:00–16:30 to explore the workshop, meet our team and resident makers, discover our studios and see where the making happens.

We’ll be giving away discounts and prizes for our classes, with courses covering traditional woodworking, DIY skills, spray finishing and digital fabrication.

Your bench vice gets used more than almost anything else in the workshop, and eventually it starts to wear down.

Want to make straighter, more accurate cuts? Try using your saw as a mirror.

Watch the reflection of your work in the blade. If your cut moves out of square, the reflection makes the movement much easier to spot. Aim for the piece to look like it continues in a straight line through the blade.

It’s a simple trick that helps you correct your technique as you cut and build the muscle memory for more accurate sawing.
