An official statement has been issued regarding the sighting of the crescent moon of Muharram and the beginning of the year 1448 AH

The sighting of the crescent moon of the month of Muharram for the year 1448 AH has been confirmed on the evening of the 15th of June 2026 and accordingly, the Crescent Committee of the Supreme Court has confirmed that Tuesday 16th June 2026 will be the 1st of Muharram 1448 AH [1/1/1448]
