How do we keep the tiger population growing? ๐Ÿฏ Better forests, and less human-tiger conflict.

With the simplest technologies, we're making coexistence possible for communities living near tiger corridors by giving families alternatives to firewood to meet their needs.

With our partners , we're helping reduce forest intrusion and create more space for tigers to make these landscapes home again, after being locally extinct in the early 2000s.

Elephants on the move! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘€
Sightings like these of elephants grazing along the river are why our early warning systems are critical.

When elephants are on the move, real-time alerts give communities and volunteers the head start they need to avoid dangerous encounters.

As human-elephant conflict increases in intensity, staying alert in our shared landscapes helps people and elephants share space safely.

The future of biodiversity, animals and plants depends on the people who live beside them.

It takes all of us, people, organisations, and governments, working together to protect our natural wealth.
This collective action is what ensures we remain in a world that is still wild and wonderful.

Today, on , we celebrate the local actions that lead to global impact.

As flowers disappear, the forest starts to smell.๐ŸŒบ

The Indigenous Soliga people of Karnataka, India have long observed their forests through songs.๐ŸŽถ

Native flowers once filled the landscape with a heavy fragrance.

Now, these exquisite scents have disappeared under the smell of invasive plants, as noted by elders in the Soliga community, like Nagamma in the video.

As their habitats shrink, Asian elephants are losing access to food, water and shelter, making them an endangered species.
