What an incredible few days we had at the 3rd International Jamboree at Gilwell Park last week.
Our Scouts joined more than 3,500 Scouts from 26 countries for an unforgettable few days of adventure, friendship and learning. From exciting activities and outdoor challenges to meeting Scouts from around the world, every day brought new experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
One of the highlights was taking part in International Morning, where everyone celebrated their cultures and traditions, as well as meeting the UK Chief Scout, . It was amazing to see so many young people from different backgrounds coming together through the shared values of Scouting.
We couldn’t be prouder of our young people. They embraced every challenge, made new friends, represented 8th East London Scouts brilliantly, and truly lived the values of teamwork, respect and kindness throughout the Jamboree.
A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, leaders and parents who made this experience possible. Alhamdulillah, it was a camp we’ll never forget, and we can’t wait for the next adventure!
