What an incredible few days we had at the 3rd International Jamboree at Gilwell Park last week.

Our Scouts joined more than 3,500 Scouts from 26 countries for an unforgettable few days of adventure, friendship and learning. From exciting activities and outdoor challenges to meeting Scouts from around the world, every day brought new experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

One of the highlights was taking part in International Morning, where everyone celebrated their cultures and traditions, as well as meeting the UK Chief Scout, . It was amazing to see so many young people from different backgrounds coming together through the shared values of Scouting.

We couldn’t be prouder of our young people. They embraced every challenge, made new friends, represented 8th East London Scouts brilliantly, and truly lived the values of teamwork, respect and kindness throughout the Jamboree.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, leaders and parents who made this experience possible. Alhamdulillah, it was a camp we’ll never forget, and we can’t wait for the next adventure!

What a busy weekend for 8th East London Scouts!

Our sections were out and about across London and beyond last weekend, with plenty of different activities taking place! 🙌

Our Beavers and Cubs went on a local history walk around East London, visiting Brick Lane Mosque, Altab Ali Park and East London Mosque.

The Scout Girls spent the day kayaking in Hackney, while the Scout Boys headed to Spitalfields City Farm to work towards their Photography Badge.

The Explorer Boys enjoyed a crazy golf trip in the City, while the Explorer Girls were away in West Sussex completing their practice expedition for their Silver DofE.

A weekend full of exploring, adventure, new skills and lots of fun. Alhamdulillah, it’s great to see all our sections out there making the most of the opportunities Scouting has to offer!

✨Celebrating 10 Years of Faith Inspire ✨

On Friday, 19th June, we had the pleasure of attending Faith Inspire’s 10th Anniversary Dinner. As an organisation, we’ve been proud to be part of for the past seven years, it was wonderful to come together and reflect on a decade of positive work, growth and impact. Alhamdulillah.

It was an inspiring evening celebrating the people, projects and communities that have helped shape the journey so far.

We pray that Faith Inspire continues to grow, inspire and serve as an exemplary Muslim community organisation in Britain—contributing positively towards a society where everyone can flourish.

May Allah bless the organisation, its volunteers and supporters, and grant continued success in the years ahead. Ameen.

Last week’s Scout session was all about getting ready for the upcoming Jamboree at the end of July! 🏕️

Cubs, Scouts and Explorers all got involved in a full tent inspection, checking equipment, pitching tents and making sure everything is ready for an amazing camp experience. Great teamwork from everyone as we count down to Jamboree! 💪⛺
