It’s the Walthamstow Way Launch this Saturday & Sunday!

Join us this weekend as we celebrate our new trail and map to connect our neighbourhoods. Enjoy the new seating for dining and drinking on Orford Road in Walthamstow Village and on Troubridge Square on Wood Street. Brand new festoon lighting is up on Ravenswood to brighten up the site as the darker nights loom.

There’s so much to do on the Walthamstow Way that you might not fit it all in one weekend, but we hope you check out some of the amazing activities happening, from DJ sets and live bands, to art exhibitions, and tasty food spots, and special offers when you use the special code “We’re doing the Walthamstow Way” at selected outlets.

The V17 Village Ceilidh for kids is being held at Orford House on Saturday 3rd October 2026.

With our live Ceilidh Band, Stroma, you and your family will be awed and entertained in equal measures. So come and let the kids dance their socks off at this new annual event.

Doors open at 5.30pm and dancing begins at 6pm and finishes at 7pm.

We will be serving Hot dogs so no need to worry about their tea!

It is going to be an epic day of selling, shopping and recycling, and a brilliant chance to meet your neighbours!

St Mary’s Church Tower Tours - Open House London

V17 have joined forces with St Mary's Walthamstow and on Sunday 20th September St Mary’s Church Tower will be open to the public as part of the Open House Festival.

Visitors will ascend the tower through the belfry, clock room and on to the roof. There will be bell ringers to demonstrate the church bells and the clock tower manager to talk about the inner workings of the clock. The roof has remarkable views across East London and beyond.

Walthamstow Village Jumble Trail is back on Sunday Sept 13th 2026 at 12 noon - 4pm.

Join us for a day of treasure hunting and community fun! The Jumble Trail is a unique event where locals set up stalls in their front gardens and sell their pre-loved items. It’s a great opportunity to find unique items, grab a bargain, and meet new people.

Expect to find everything from vintage clothing to handmade crafts, books, toys, and more. There’s something for everyone at the Jumble Trail, and it’s a great way to support local businesses and reduce waste.

FREE to attend, stallholders should purchase a ticket for £6. This goes towards organising and promoting the event as well as raising funds for V17’s local improvement works - to sell your treasures book here.

Stallholders will be listed on our map with an overview of types of items you’ll be selling to help shoppers find you easily.

If you live in the village and don’t have a front garden, or would like to set up with others, we have pitches available at several key spots around the village.
