For the past few months, young people have been designing their dream youth club! 🏠

They have been sharing ideas, shaping what the space could look and feel like, and helping plan the activities they want to see. 💡

They've also designed logos and helped launched new Instagram account - The Youth Hub WFCH

Their voices matter - and this is their space.

We’re excited to see their ideas come to life at The Youth Hub. 💜

The Youth Hub 💫

We are delighted to announce the launch of The Youth Hub - a safe, welcoming space for young people of all ages. 📰

The Youth Hub brings together everything we already provide for children and young people under one clear identity. 🏠

Our ambition is for The Youth Hub and our building at 18a Orford Road to support young people throughout their journey—from their earliest years through to the age of 18. 👶🏼 👨‍💼👩‍💼

The Youth Hub will be more than a single project or weekly session. It will provide a flexible umbrella for youth-focused activities delivered by Waltham Forest Community Hub, our partners and those facilitating activities in the building allowing us to respond to local needs, develop new activities and pursue funding opportunities as they arise. 🏠

Young people have helped shape the future of The Youth Hub and have been involved in co-designing its new identity. Their voices will continue to influence how The Youth Hub develops. 💜

We would love to work with local residents, schools, community organisations, funders and businesses to develop the Youth Hub and create lasting opportunities for Waltham Forest’s children and young people. 🤝🏻

More information about activities, partnerships and ways to support the Youth Hub will be shared soon. 🔜

Here’s a little look at the fun we had at our last session!

💜 From moving to the music to getting our bodies active, our chair exercise class is a relaxed, friendly way to keep moving, have a laugh and enjoy time together.

Who says exercise can’t be fun? 😊💪

💜 Something exciting is coming to Walthamstow!

We’re building a brand new Youth Club for 10-19 year olds at Waltham Forest Community Hub.

We’re currently collecting games, sports equipment, art supplies, furniture and other bits to help bring the space to life. Got something suitable that’s no longer being used? We’d love to hear from you.

Our team had a fantastic time attending an event at Waltham Forest College, connecting with young people and listening to their ideas. 💬🙌

Young people’s voices must be at the heart of decisions that affect them. By sharing their views, they can help shape a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring space that reflects what they genuinely want and need.

We’re excited to continue working alongside young people—ensuring their space is shaped with them, not just for them. 💚💜

Huge thank you to Waltham Forest College for accommodating us.

Our amazing youth team had a fantastic time at the Sunday Jumble Trail, getting out into the local community, meeting new people and showcasing their creativity!

They proudly sold artwork they had created themselves, giving them the opportunity to share their talents, build confidence and connect with the community. 🖌️💛

Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating the one and only Dolly Parton! 🤠💖

There was plenty of fun and laughter, including a Dolly-themed quiz, a lively game of Bingo, and, of course, some fantastic entertainment from our fabulous performers Angela and Sandra! 🎤🎶

It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, singing along, having a laugh and enjoying some great compan
