Children have been busy planting seeds, watering soil, and watching with wonder as the first green shoots push their way up to say hello. From leafy greens juicy beans, our garden is becoming a living classroom full of discovery.
Our children are learning where food comes from, how to care for living things, and the joy of patience as they wait for their hard work to flourish. And of course, there’s nothing quite like the pride of picking something you've grown yourself! 🌼
We can’t wait to harvest, taste, and celebrate all the wonderful things that are starting to grow.
💚 Keep watching this space - our garden (and little gardeners) are just getting started!

Top tips for promoting Learning Through Play... Creative Play!
Creative play is fantastic activity for children under 5 as it boosts their brain power, helps them express and understand their emotions, teaches social skills like sharing and cooperation, improves motor skills and coordination, enhances language abilities, and sparks imagination and creativity.
We offer a variety of various activities to support these developmental benefits, ensuring a fun and enriching environment for young children. See our website for a full list of creative activity sessions.

🎉🏛️ On International Day of Play, we are proud to share that our Head of Operations, Nicola, recently attended the House of Commons for an important committee discussion on the vital role of play across our country.
Kindly invited through the support of , It was inspiring to hear from , Play Wales, , and The Early Years Alliance with support from MP , all championing this incredibly important subject.

At The Lloyd Park Children's Charity, play is at the heart of everything we do. Every day, we see how play supports children's learning, wellbeing and development, and we believe every child has the right to play.
Today, on International Day of Play, we celebrate the power of play and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive through play. 💛
Because play is not just fun – it is fundamental.

🌍🎉 Happy International Day of Play! 🌍🎉
This year's theme, "Protect Play, Protect Childhood," reminds us that play is not just fun – it is a fundamental right and an essential part of every child's healthy development.
At The Lloyd Park Children's Charity, we strive every day to ensure that every child has the opportunity to play, explore, imagine and thrive. Through play, children build confidence, develop relationships, express themselves and experience the joy of childhood.
By protecting play, we protect childhood itself – creating environments where children feel safe, valued and free to learn and grow.
Today, we celebrate the power of play and reaffirm our commitment to championing every child's right to play and to experience the lifelong benefits it brings.
💙 Because every child deserves the chance to play.
