Introducing Rainbow Spotlight - three evenings across September, October and November, each hosted at a different London venue, bringing the UK's CG community together for an evening of talks, demos and connection.

Random 42, Framestore, Lux Aeterna, Foundry- are some of our speakers this year.

Bring Your Own Animation this month with special short film screening & presentation–SEN

This month we’ll have a special screening of the short film SEN by director Maxim Gehricke.

Maxim Gehricke, born 23 February 2000 in Germany is a London-based director and visual effects artist. Since Uni, he has spent about 5 years making the 3D animated short film "SEN" as a solo endeavour.

"SEN" explores how we perceive time and age through the journey of a curious little robot on an alien planet. The film is releasing online at the end of 2025.

The mentoring and networking is happening as usual.

The BFX Festival, hosted by Bournemouth University, is one of the largest visual effects, computer animation and games festivals in the UK. This international event inspires current and future generations of artists, technicians as well as engineers, with a week long schedule of talks, panels and masterclasses delivered by industry experts. Bringing together the industry's most exciting pioneers, a melting pot of practitioners, researchers and the next generation, to celebrate the past, revel in the present and explore the future of computer animation.

"Night Tiger Animation Studios is developing Boy King, an original animated mythological drama inspired by ancient India.
