Temperatures are rising, and hot weather can be particularly dangerous for people sleeping rough.
Dangers include dehydration, heat stroke, and skin damage - and in severe cases this can lead to life threatening issues.
If youβre concerned about someone, submit a StreetLink alert with a clear description and exact location.
If you are sleeping rough, you can also use StreetLink to refer yourself for support.
The alert will be sent to the local authority or its outreach team so they can try to find the person and check their welfare. Depending on what is available locally, teams may be able to offer water, sunscreen, access to shade or indoor shelter, and other support.
