The home offers a range of services for the older person, including residential, specialist dementia and respite care.

From sharing laughs to brightening days, you make such a difference every time you visit. Our residents always look forward to Thursdays with you! The minit they come in they ask if your coming 🥰

😊 Happy National Smile Day! 😊

Our residents marked the day by sharing their lovely smiles and taking some wonderful selfies. A smile can brighten a day, lift spirits, and bring people together and today was full of them! 😄💙

For Dementia Week, last week our residents enjoyed a lovely Memory Box session together. 💙 🩵 💙

Residents shared treasured memories through old photographs, perfumes, clocks, albums, books, drawings, and personal writings. It was wonderful to see everyone talking, sharing stories, laughing, and remembering special moments from their lives.

A truly heartwarming activity that brought smiles, conversation, and connection to all. We had such a lovely time together.

Today is Mental Health Awareness Day and at The Mead Quantum Care we proudly took part in Wear It Green Day. 💚 💚 💚

Our residents and staff enjoyed a fun team quiz alongside lovely conversations about dream holidays, feelings, and what mental health means to them. Everyone looked fantastic wearing green and wearing homemade bow enjoying a morning filled with laughter, friendship, and support for one another.

On International Nurses Day, our lovely residents made a special thank you card for our caring team.

A heartfelt thank you to all our carers for your kindness, patience, and dedication every day. Your care means so much to our residents and is truly appreciated. 💙 ❤️ 🧡

We enjoyed a beautiful countryside walk in the sunshine, creating special memories as we chatted with people in the community and admired their animals. We finished with a well-deserved cup of tea.

It was also heartwarming to see one of our day centre residents helping staff clear the tables (with their permission), which clearly brought him so much joy and put a big smile on his face.

Message from our care team manager, Gemma!

Brighton Marathon 2026!! What a day 😮‍💨 everything was going so well until 23k was on for a sub 3.30 but my hip went and didn’t think I was going to finish. I cried a lot 😅 But I did and done it in 4hours!

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that was supporting me in Brighton and from home! I saw all the messages and it kept me going!! Everyone who donated to my page to raise money for Alzheimer’s research 🧡 everyone was so generous.

Gemma raised £631 for the charity Alzheimer's Research UK
