Work with us at the Ensemble Festival!📣 Are you interested in learning about how arts festivals are run? We’re looking for Festival Assistants to support this year’s Festival in July ⛱️

Ensemble Festival 2026 takes place on July 25 and 26 in the heart of the Royal Docks, bringing an explosive mix of circus, theatre, live music, dance, and outdoor performance.

❇️ We are offering a free one-day training session on festival producing, evaluation and data collection, followed by a paid role working on this year’s Ensemble Festival. You will learn about the key roles that make a festival work, talk through the Ensemble Festival programme, and learn new skills that we will use when working together on the day to support artists, deal with the public and collect audience data for future events.

The training will take place on Thursday 16th July between 10:30 - 16:30 at Expressway London (1 Dock Rd, London E16 1AH) with a free lunch provided.

💰Fee: £14.80 per hour. Shifts are maximum 5.5 hours long.
📆 Application deadline: Monday 6 July, 10:00am
💻 Interviews: Friday 10 July 2026 between 9:00am and 11:00am (15-minute online interviews).

FRAGMENTS OF US from Talawa Theatre in collaboration with contemporary dance company FUBUNATION and award-winning artist Sonia Hughes, a dance and spoken word performance exploring ancestry, belonging, and shared experiences.

GARBH by Shyam Dattani and Mira Salat reimagines Gujarati folk dance Garba through contemporary choreography and visually rich design.

ElevateHer by Daughters of the Wire celebrates female camaraderie and empowerment through an uplifting wire walking performance.

Nigel “Kobby” Taylor’s THE TORCH blends Afrobeat, hip-hop, rap and storytelling into a performance about identity, legacy and discovering one’s own light 🎤

🪨 Ferdinando + Bernstein’s STICK AND STONE brings audiences together through physical comedy and visual imagery in a playful and poignant reflection on nature, ecological crisis, and reconnection.

Brainfools present BALANCE, a contemporary circus piece using found objects, theatre and acrobatics to reflect on pub culture 👠🍻 Performing exclusively on Sunday 26th July

Cormac Mohally is CAPTAIN C-MAN, bringing a juggling and circus show for all ages 🤹🏼‍♂️ Performing exclusively on Saturday 25th July

We’re also thrilled to showcase performances by some of the most exciting artists from Catalonia this year! ✨

WATER SILHOUETTES by Teatro en Movimiento Callejerx, a performance set in a dystopian world and exploring water scarcity through poetic, participatory and sensory storytelling 💦

🤡 U.F.A by Cris Clown, a public space installation centred around a clown suspended in the middle of the street.

DOMTE by Nacho Flores, a poetic street circus duet inspired by mythology and transformation

Ensemble Festival is our annual free outdoor celebration of circus, dance, and theatre, bringing some of the most exciting contemporary artists.

We are looking for a Festival Producer to support the festival this summer! Our 7th edition will take place on 25 and 26th July 🗓️🤩

The Festival Producer will report to the Senior Producer and connect with the festival team (Artistic Director, General Manager, Marketing & Comms)

💰Fee: £1,750 based on £175/day for 10 days (6 days planning, development and evaluation, 4 days festival delivery)
📆 Application deadline: Tuesday 26 May 2026, at 10:00 am
💻 Interviews: Online on Wednesday 27 May 2026 (candidates should be available on that day)
