A day to dream big 💭⚽

Last week, some of our Little Londoners got a behind-the-scenes look at and left imagining whole new futures.

From exploring the club museum to learning about careers in football beyond the pitch, the day was full of eye-opening moments. When we asked what department they’d like to work in one day, a few said, The Foundation.

Olivia tackled 106km in the Isle of Wight Ultra. Ha ran the Battersea Half Marathon. Lily took on the Hackney Half.

🎉Together, they’ve raised over £2,500 for The Kids Network.

They did it with determination, joy, and a whole lot of heart, because they believe every child deserves someone in their corner.

From early morning runs to sore legs and long walks — every step they took made this work possible.

Many children in London are already facing barriers that can shape their futures before they’ve had the chance to discover who they are:

💡In 2023, around 1 in 5 children aged 8 to 16 had mental health disorder (NHS England).

💡As of April 2024, 4.5 million children in the UK were living in poverty (End Child Poverty Coalition).

💡Every day, around 1,700 children are referred to social care in England (Local Government Association).

These numbers aren’t just stats - they’re stories waiting to be rewritten.

That’s why we’re here. To show up, one hour a week, for Little Londoners who just need someone in their corner.
