LOCAL SOLIDARITY: REGIONAL RELIEF SUPPORT 🌙

As we do every Ramadan, we managed to touch the lives of nearly a hundred people through this Zakat project, which we strive to carry out in the Bethlehem region with our own limited resources.

We would like to thank our dedicated team and all our donors who contributed to this project, which covers life-saving medications, baby formula, diapers, and urgent living expenses alongside essential food aid.

Note: We have only shared a small, candid glimpse of the procurement and distribution process in this post. To protect the dignity and privacy of the families we support, we chose not to include their images. 🤍

We carried the spirit of solidarity and the joy of Eid to the tents in Gaza... 🌙📦

On March 18, the WYKEI field team was on the ground in Gaza. As part of our broader Ramadan initiatives, we went tent-to-tent to support families' tables and deliver essential food parcels directly into their hands. Through this effort, we also helped our donors distribute their Zakat al-Fitr to those most in need.

For us, this was more than just delivering humanitarian aid; it was an opportunity to be welcomed into their spaces, share a moment of connection, and show them they are not alone. The genuine conversations outside their tents and the smiles on the children's faces remain our greatest motivation ✨️

Though the holiday has passed, our relief operations in Gaza continue without pause. We need your ongoing support to remind them they are not forgotten, every day of the year 🙏

✨ Eid should be a time of joy, safe homes, and children’s laughter. Yet, for too many children around the world, this day is overshadowed by the harsh realities of war. 🌙

As an organization committed to humanity, our wish today goes beyond a simple celebration. We stand for a world where no child has to experience the trauma of conflict, and where global peace is a reality, not just a prayer. 🌍🕊️

Standing with Families in Gaza 🎗

In January 2026, the WYKEI team gathered with local families in Gaza for a food parcel distribution. Families arrived at the distribution point with their children to receive their essential food supplies from our team.

For us, this was more than just delivering aid; it was an opportunity to greet each family, check in on them, and show that they are not alone during these difficult times. A brief conversation and the genuine smiles on the children's faces mean everything to us. These regional efforts continue to reach more households thanks to your ongoing support 🙏

In Gaza, a sack of flour does more than feed; it is the most tangible way of saying, "You are not alone." 🌾

​Today, amidst the devastating war and extremely high costs, our team was on the ground. We visited households in need, tent by tent, to deliver vital flour supplies to those with no breadwinner and no source of income.

​The households we visited are home to children who lost their fathers in the conflict or whose fathers are imprisoned, women surviving on their own, cancer patients, and people with disabilities, all struggling to survive under the harshest conditions.

​We did not just drop off supplies. We sat with them and listened. The flour will sustain them for the coming days, but our visit also showed them that someone truly cares about their suffering 💜

​Thank you to everyone who made this possible. However, these families are in urgent need of continuous assistance 🙏

On August 16, 2025, the WYKEI team carried out a water distribution in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Thanks to your support, we delivered 4,000 litres of clean drinking water to families and children facing severe shortages.
