As part of our recruitment process, we run free in-person sessions to help you learn more about MAMA Youth Project training and how to apply.

If you are thinking about applying, we highly recommend attending a session. They are designed to help you feel confident and informed throughout your application journey. During these sessions, you will:

- Learn about a range of career pathways
- Gain insight into what employers are looking for
- Receive advice on networking and job applications
- Learn how to tailor your CV for the industry
- Understand the do’s and don’ts of writing a cover letter

You will also learn more about MAMA Youth Project’s Studio Production Training and how to make your application stand out.

Places can be booked via Eventbrite link. Please note that only one ticket per person is allowed, and booking is required for entry. Refreshments will be provided.

We’re now recruiting for our Birmingham-based FREE Studio Production Training, delivered in partnership with Prime Video Pathway and designed to open doors for young people from underrepresented backgrounds.

Over 4 weeks, you’ll work in a real studio environment, build a show from scratch, and gain the skills, confidence and connections to step into the industry.

After completion, you’ll receive ongoing support, mentoring, and access to paid opportunities with leading companies across TV and media.

Trainees from MAMA Youth Project worked alongside the BAFTA award-winning team at Licklemor Productions on The Other Art Show for Sky Arts, gaining hands-on experience making broadcast television.

This episode featured artist and musician Maverick Sabre.
