So this little one arrived earlier, she’s a Mali x Czech Shepherd and just 8 months old. She’s scared to death, growly, she’s never had a lead or collar on, completely unsure of what is happening bless her. So she’s just being left today to de-compress and let’s hope she realises she’s safe here.

Any name suggestions for her are very welcome ☺️☺️

Yesterday I posted a plea asking for help to save a 10 year old Labrador from being put to sleep.
Well yet again I can’t thank all the people who offered a foster place for him.
Social media gets a hard time sometimes, but it can be an amazing platform for people to come together.
Huge thanks to an old friend Laura Mardell who lives a million miles away from me, saw the post, shared it and a friend of hers who lived not far away from Ralphie offered to help.
The amazing Philippa has today collected the lovely chap and has him safe at her home.
I’m so grateful that so many people care and genuinely want to help 🥰

Ralphie will need some medical treatment, he’s not vaccinated, wormed or flea treated. He’s not neutered, so we will need to get him checked out and a plan put in place for him.
But he’s safe 🎉🎉🎉

If anyone could spare even a £1 towards his food, and veterinary treatment I would be immensely grateful 🙏

Is there anyone I know that could foster a 10 year old Labrador for me urgently ??
Has lived with another dog and a new born baby, but he needs a quiet home where this poor chap can settle without any stress.

🙏Also if anyone could help with transport costs to get him from Lancashire to us
here I’d really appreciate it. Owners are taking him to be put to sleep 😪

Donald has been with us about 8/9 years now, he was a prolific Heavyweight Show Hunter in Ireland. He won Royal Dublin International on several occasions.

Donald is 17.1hh and now 21 years old, and still a quirky chap. He came to us because he was naughty 🙈. He was bought from Ireland to hunt, but kept jumping out of his field, 6ft walls, nothing would keep him in, he jumped out once and landed on a car that was driving past. That was the final straw for his owners.

He is very sharp, especially out hacking, I would say a prayer before leaving 😂
If he doesn’t like you, he makes it quite clear 😬 but I love him very much, he only ever jumped out once with us when we first had him, never since. Even though he is like he is we have a special bond, and he trusts me to do anything with him. He is scared of everything but has the heart of a lion 💞

I’m so sorry Bandit, I did everything I possibly could, but we lost you, I’m devastated 😔

Bandit is still fighting, it’s so hard seeing something so tiny poorly 😞 the diarrhoea has improved this afternoon, so that’s a big plus, I really hope the antibiotics start kicking this things butt quickly !!

Young dogs need to learn to respect other dogs, Holly the spaniel is a super well balanced dog, if pushed she will tell them off.
Here you can see the rude two pups harassing her, she gave them warning signs, they didn’t listen so she told them off. They backed off immediately, which is great to see.
This is some of the best education these young guys can have. I’m fortunate to have a few great dogs who I can safely use like this 💞🐶🐾
