🍕 Connections Club – Pizza Express!

We’re kicking off the new academic year with a trip to Pizza Express in Headingley! 🍕

This will be a quieter session, making it a great opportunity for anyone new to Connections Club to meet people and get settled in. 💙

Meet Bethany! 👋💙

Bethany is one of our Pre-Intern Job Coaches and has been part of the Lighthouse Futures Trust team since 2022.

One of her favourite things about working at LFT is the variety of experiences she gets to share with our interns. From visiting employer sites and work experience placements, to getting outside for walks or enjoying wellbeing sessions in the garden. 🌳 Bethany loves seeing intern's strengths, interests and personalities shine through.

✨ Fun fact: Outside of work, Bethany loves going to music events and festivals, as well as getting creative with digital art. 🎶🎨

If you're passionate about building relationships, connecting with local businesses, and creating opportunities that change lives, we'd love to hear from you.

As our Employer Engagement Officer, you'll:

- Build and develop long-term partnerships with local employers.

- Identify new employment, work placement and internship opportunities.

- Represent Lighthouse Futures Trust at networking events and within the local business community.

- Use LinkedIn and social media to engage employers and grow professional networks.

- Work alongside our Supported Employment, Internship and Marketing teams to help our learners and service users progress into sustainable paid employment.
