It's Volunteers' Week ! !

To every single person who gives their time, energy, and heart to the Bridge Community Project, thank you! 🫶🫶

You show up week after week, not for recognition, but because you genuinely care about the people and community around you.

What you do matters. Without your time and generosity the Bridge Community Project would not be where it is today.

Our friends and colleagues at Carers of West Lothian do a great job supporting those caring for someone on an unpaid basis.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the crucial role mental wellbeing plays in the lives of unpaid carers and disabled adults. Unpaid carers and disabled adults often carry invisible pressures and taking time to look after your wellbeing isn’t a luxury: it’s essential.

The emotional load can be heavy and prioritising your own mental health is a vital part of sustaining the care you give and the life you lead. Small steps toward self care can make a meaningful difference.

The theme of this week is Action: taking action to improve and maintain your mental health and taking action to support other people’s mental health. This week let’s make space for rest, connection and support for everyone who needs it.

Support is available here at CoWL and you deserve it.
