Our sponsors are always amazed when they visit Kenya and see how families travel from one place to another on a boda boda.

For many families, a boda boda is much more than just transport, it is part of everyday life. It connects people to work, school, markets, hospitals and their communities.

What is truly inspiring is seeing how people adapt, support one another and keep moving forward despite the challenges they face every day. 🙏🏾

The Kenyan traditional dancing is truly something special, full of culture, energy, talent and pride. Watching the young people embrace and showcase their traditions is both inspiring and motivating. This is how they keep their culture alive and pass it on to the next generation.

This is where our Girl Scouts’ camp was held, with thousands of Scouts from all over the country coming together.

What an incredible and unforgettable experience for our girls. Seeing them take part, learn, compete, make new friends and represent our school fills me with so much pride.

For many of them, this was their first major journey and such a powerful opportunity to see what is possible beyond their everyday surroundings. Experiences like this inspire, motivate and build confidence, leadership and dreams.

I couldn’t be prouder of our girls. This is what giving young people opportunities is all about inspiring them today so they can achieve even greater things tomorrow 👏🏽

We gave our chicken house a complete clean. We washed and disinfected all the feeding equipment, refreshed the space with clean sawdust and made sure the chickens have a healthy, comfortable environment.

This chicken project is about so much more than raising poultry. It is a living classroom where our children learn responsibility, teamwork, animal care and the value of sustainable farming. Every task teaches practical life skills while inspiring them to appreciate where food comes from and how hard work creates opportunities.

By maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, we are not only caring for our chickens but also creating a place where our children can learn, grow and enjoy hands on experiences that will benefit them for years to come. Small actions today are helping to build brighter futures tomorrow

Our 16 Girl Scouts are enjoying every moment of their camping and competition in Thika. What an incredible and unforgettable journey this has been filled with learning, teamwork, adventure and lifelong memories. We are immensely proud of each and every one of these girls for representing our school with courage, discipline, determination and pride. They have embraced every challenge, grown in confidence and created memories that will stay with them forever. This is only the beginning of many great adventures ahead

Yesterday, our 16 Girl Scouts set off for Thika, near Nairobi, to proudly represent our school at the National Scouts Competition, an incredible achievement and a moment of great pride for our entire school community. We couldn’t be prouder of all they have accomplished to reach this stage.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful sponsors. Your generosity has made this unforgettable journey possible, opening doors and creating opportunities that these young girls will carry with them for a lifetime.

For many of them, this is their very first long-distance journey, travelling 8 to 10 hours across Kenya. Along the way, they will experience the breathtaking beauty of our country from its spectacular landscapes to the remarkable wildlife and natural wonders that make Kenya so unique.

This journey is about so much more than a competition. It is about building confidence, embracing new experiences, forming lifelong friendships, creating lasting memories and inspiring these young girls to dream bigger than ever before.

As they represent our school on the national stage, we wish them every success. No matter the outcome, they have already made us incredibly proud.

Together, we are changing lives, empowering the next generation of leaders, and proving that with opportunity, encouragement and belief anything is possible

The toys in our nursery are more than just toys, they inspire dreams, ignite imaginations and help shape the future. They bring endless joy to our children while encouraging them to believe that anything is possible.

This little girl has already discovered her purpose. Every day, she proudly carries her little nurse’s bag with a smile, caring for everyone around her and dreaming of one day becoming a nurse.

Let’s continue to nurture these dreams, because today’s playful imagination can become tomorrow’s compassionate nurse, dedicated to healing lives and making the world a better place.

At Jolaurabi School, our learners are not only gaining an education, they are developing practical skills that will serve them for a lifetime. We believe that education goes beyond the classroom. When children are equipped with hands-on skills alongside academic knowledge, they gain the confidence to shape their own futures and become self-reliant members of their communities. These young hands are creating more than knitted pieces they are weaving dreams, building character and preparing for a brighter tomorrow

Today, our school netball girls had the privilege of playing a friendly match against the KMTC team, which included several national players proudly representing Kenya.

Although we narrowly lost by a single goal, with the match ending 29–28 in favor of our visitors, our girls demonstrated incredible determination, teamwork, discipline and resilience from the first whistle to the last. Going toe-to-toe with such an experienced and talented team and finishing just one goal behind is a remarkable achievement and a testament to how far they have come.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the KMTC team for accepting our invitation, for the excellent display of sportsmanship, and for making this such an exciting and memorable encounter. We look forward to many more opportunities to compete, learn from one another and continue building the spirit of friendship through sport.

The future is bright 👏👏🫶🏼🤩
