“There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t think about my month interning in Thailand. Travelling alone for the first time was both exciting and challenging - I felt homesick and out of my comfort zone.

Leaning on the Think Pacific community and building connections with fellow volunteers and locals quickly made Thailand feel like home. I also grew in confidence, learning to speak up, share my thoughts, and trust my perspective.

I left with more than memories - I gained lasting friendships, cultural awareness, and a completely new way of seeing the world.”

🌴 We’re Hiring – Join the Think Pacific Fiji Team! 🇫🇯
We are currently seeking two dedicated team members to support our operations in Fiji for our upcoming programme period.

🔹 1. House Caretaker (Security & Grounds)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general security and oversight of the property
Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and premises
Monitor and ensure the safety of the house at all times
Support with basic maintenance tasks when required

🔹 2. House Hospitality Leader (Cooking & Housekeeping)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare daily meals for our international team
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the house
Manage kitchen organisation and food supplies
Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all residents

📅 Contract Details
Fixed-term contract: 11th May – 31st August 2026
Location: Suva, Fiji
Start Date: 11th May 2026

✅ What We’re Looking For
Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive individuals
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in similar roles is an advantage

“For Fiji, a real highlight was the day we did bilibili rafting down the local river with our village! Endless laughs, especially when we successfully sunk most the rafts and played volleyball on the sandbank and had lunch around a fire.

As for Bali, a project highlight would have to be Tegallalang rice terraces which we visited during our visit few days in Ubud having just met each other. It was a great way to bond with people in the group who I’d be working with for the next month and the zip wire across the terraces was incredible!”
