Menshed Olympians! 🏅

Meanwood Mensheders Dennis, Tim and Barry were more than happy to support the local community by attending the final event of this year’s Meanwood Summer Olympics, organised by InterACT.

It was a great opportunity to showcase the work of Meanwood Menshed, meet and connect with people from the local community, and, of course, show off some of the fantastic work produced in the Shed.

A particular highlight was the work of our resident wood PUZZLER, Dennis, whose creations certainly attracted plenty of attention! 🪵🧩

Well done to everyone involved in making this year’s Meanwood Summer Olympics such a success — and congratulations to our very own Menshed Olympians! 🏆

The sun shone brightly on the Meanwood Mensheders annual Pizza Night at the farm.
Many thanks to Vanessa (Interact) for organising, and to chef Alex and Sarah for all the tasty pizzas (29 seconds per pizza), what a wizard !!!
Thanks also to Dennis for keeping us entertained and frustrated with his wooden puzzles.

Tim, with the help of other Meanwood Mensheders, built and then delivered this seed library to the Reginald Terrace Community Hub, Chapeltown, Leeds.
This is the second one of its kind, the first being placed at the Meanwood Community Centre.

On this glorious sunny Friday, Meanwood Valley Farm Menshed were pleased to welcome Councillors Eileen Taylor and Jane Dowson for a familiarisation chat and drink.

Topics of discussion included aims and objectives of the group, men's wellbeing, loneliness, future needed support, sources of referrals and history of our Menshed group.

Everyone agreed that the meeting proved beneficial and future collaboration is most welcome.
