💙 Another little step towards BIG things! 💙

Our superstar absolutely smashed his appointment today! 🥹👏

After a bit of a dramatic start to our morning 🙈, Eli was an absolute champ and we've come away with some very exciting news...

👟 New supportive shoes are on the way AND we're getting a walking frame! 🥹💙

I genuinely cannot wait to see what this little boy can do with it. Every bit of progress happens in Eli's own time, in Eli's own way — and we'll be right beside him cheering like lunatics for every single step. 💪🥰

He works so incredibly hard without even knowing it, and I'm forever proud of him. Today feels like the beginning of another exciting little chapter. 💙

Nearly four years of you, fiercely independent, ridiculously handsome… and absolutely unimpressed with whatever Mum has just said. 😂❤️

After a full day shopping and mooching around Leeds, chatting to half the city and somehow managing the entire day without a nap, my beautiful boy was finally waiting patiently for his Uber home. 😂🥰

That little face has always been Grandad Grumpy’s face, and I absolutely adore it. ❤️ He may have inherited Grandad’s grumpy expression, but he’s got a heart that could light up the whole world. 💖

My beautiful boy, I love you more than words could ever say. ❤️🥹

Oh im absolutely fuming with what ive been told today! I should be excited that my Eli is finally going to be given a walking frame.
Instead im furious at what the Leeds City Council nursery has told Eli's physiotherapist. Thats the email they have now received let's see what happens from here.....
Ill FOREVER advocate for this beautiful amazing little boy! Im not letting this go now im gonna see it all the way through 💯🤬

This is where me and Eli went. Its such a lovely place for children to learn, grow and explore. Eli really enjoyed his time there and we managed a good hour before it became abit much for him.

One good thing is they have a booking system so the place doesn't get too busy or crowded which is one thing we look put for when looking for days out.🔖

It has a lovely little cafe area and the food was scrummy 😋

Eli particularly loved dressing up and we got some wonderful pictures i really enjoyed going and ill defo be booking again 👌

Fusion 8 is a community hub for families and residents of Harehills. It has been turned from a disused corner house into a bright, welcoming space housing a food and hygiene bank as well as a uniform exchange. There is also a chance to meet with officers and speak about concerns confidentially.

The hub will be open THIS FRIDAY from 1000 until 1200 and drop in's are welcome!

Hi everyone! 👋🏼🥰 I’m Eli’s mum, and this is our little corner of Facebook where I share the adventures of my amazing boy. 💙

Eli is 3 years old and has a dual diagnosis of Down syndrome and autism. He’s non-verbal, has his own unique way of experiencing the world, and absolutely LOVES getting out and about, exploring, laughing, causing mischief and generally keeping his mum on her toes! 😂🙈

I started Eli’s Adventures to share his life, our experiences and all the wonderful places we discover along the way — but also because I know how hard it can be for SEN families to find activities and events that genuinely work for our children.
