We are going to be starting our next Life, Loss, Learning, Legacy bereavement group for adults with learning disabilities very soon. This is going to be an online group, which will meet in person for recording sessions. Well we've had a busy few weeks with plenty more coming up! Our screenings kicked off with a wonderful day at Hillside where our storytellers did a fantastic job & provoked great conversations with their stories.

Exciting times! We have three screenings coming up in the next two week! Hillside, Middleton and Aireborough groups are screening their video stories and hosting conversation sessions highlighting some of the issues facing adults with learning disabilities when it comes to bereavement and the importance of talking about memories of people and places. Yesterday we held a screening for our storytellers from Middleton who completed their videos at the end of 2024. Their stories are amazing, and this screening was particularly poignant as one of the group recently passed away. The screening provided an opportunity to remember and pay tribute to him, as well as the loved ones in these video stories.
