over the last year, leeds has remained one of the main targets for immigration raids in the north east, yorkshire & humberside.
the home office says raids are about “immigration control.” but in reality, they are racist and classist tools of fear. they punish survival, while hiding the real causes of hardship: greed, power, political choices. it doesn't have to be this way.
this post shares what the latest foi data shows, what it hides, and how we resist together. from leeds to palestine, congo, sudan, kashmir, kurdistan and beyond, our struggles are connected. borders are violent by design, but solidarity crosses every border they draw.
