Championship Blackpool Fireworks and Illuminations ✨

SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 2026 with Ryelands Residents Community Group 🏘️ 🎆🏖️I’m coming back with a bang 💥

I know how much everyone wanted a family trip this summer but it just wasn’t possible, a few have twisted my arm to do a Blackpool lights trip So with some NEW rules 😊 The event will be brilliant the world’s firework elite promises a mouth-watering show with brilliant entertainment all the family with no worries off buses or trains.

The coach will pick up from ST Chads Church hall 5PM (4:45pm to sign in ) ⭐️ then dropping off on the Blackpool promenade around 6PM🏖️

Coach Picking back up from the SAME place at 9:30PM and driving back through the lights home 🏠 🌅

The stunning displays, which are set to music, will take place once again over the beach in front of The Blackpool Tower. All of them are free to access, Build up will start from 7.30pm, and firing approx 8.30pm.🎆

🌟 Cost of the trip is £10 per person/seat. ⭐️

£5 Non refundable DEPOSIT per person to be payed IMMEDIATELY to SECURE YOUR place and be added to the list.

Full payment of £10 to be made by Tuesday 1st September 🎆 (any payments not made in full by then will be removed off the list and people on the reserve list will be offered places.

CASH PAYMENTS ONLY. Private Message me and I will collect.

RULES ⭐️

* wristbands to be worn by ALL under 16’s and must include :

- Group leaders Phone number

- Parents Phone Number

* Group Leader to hold all personal details of each child attending must include:

- parents name + number

- child’s name date of birth

- EMERGENCY contact name/number

* No alcohol/drugs should be consumed this is a family trip, applies even more so when responsible for children. Any issues and you’ll be left to make your own way home.

* be at the coach 15 minutes prior to it setting off to and from the trip, taking all rubbish with you please.

Smoke Free Lancashire are at St Chads Church Hall today to offer free support and ni****ne replacement products to help you on your journey to stop smoking. 🚭

You don’t have to do it on your own, there’s amazing free support to help you. 🥰

I will also be at St Chads for anyone who wishes to discuss anything. Whether there’s something you need help with, something you wish to discuss, ideas for the estate, or just simply to say hello☺️

What a fantastic afternoon on the skater park

The children of Ryelands got to enjoy some boxing with Lancaster Boxing Club

And Lou Andrews kindly brought art supplies and the children drew trees and wrote what they hope to have on the estate one day,lots of lovely ideas!!

We’re having a brilliant afternoon at Lancaster City Council Housing's Family Fun Day! 🎉

Sharon, Yak, Jenny and Rachel from Lancaster District CVS are down at King George’s Playing Fields chatting with the community and sharing advice about the support available locally.

Come and have a chat about getting support to quit smoking, finding volunteering opportunities, connecting with local community groups and services, or simply finding out a bit more about what Lancaster District CVS can help with.

There’s plenty of fun happening too, with games, activities and some rather competitive hula hoop action!

It’s been lovely speaking to so many people from the local community. The fun continues until 3pm, so pop down, say hello and come and see us!

Ryelands residents will be having a stall :) we will be continuing to sell our Raffel tickets :) we will also have a few games and lucky dip at a small cost to raise funds for the park , looks a really fun day and hope to see you there 😄

𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚'𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬! This summer, it's time for the whole family to get outdoors as we hold our Family Fun Day this coming Friday (14 Aug) at King George's Playing Fields, Lancaster between 11am and 3pm.

With free activities, entertainment, and games - with a special visit from Beyond Bear and the team from Beyond Radio - there's something for everyone!

⚽Football on Ryelands Park.

For all children aged 8 and over. We will be meeting at St Chad's at 12pm and walking down to the park.
