We are here at Elloughton-cum-Brough Village Hall for another Digital Inclusion event.
We will be here until 12 noon offering advice and information to anyone living with sight loss.

Yesterday, we had an amazing session with Fitmums and Friends participating in Dragon Boat Rowing! We had a great time learning how to control the boat as a group, and definitely got our exercise in for the day! Thank you very much Fitmums and Friends for hosting the session for us, and thank you to all of the trained volunteers helping us to feel safe whilst on the Dragon Boat.

Bridlington & surrounding areas, come and see what support is available to you!

If you live in or around Bridlington, be sure to come and visit us at North Bridlington Library on Thursday 19th November, where we'll be hosting our next outreach session!

We'll be joined by our good friend Paul from Optelec, who will be on hand to demonstrate a range of low vision aids, equipment and accessories, giving you the opportunity to see and try some of the latest products available.

We'll also be there to offer advice, guidance and information about the support available for people living with sight loss.

Whether you're looking for support yourself, or know someone who could benefit from our services, we'd love to see you.

🎵 Calling all music lovers! 🎵

Our Trustee, Carol Winter, has set up a Music Night with the band Retribute at Croft Park Cafe. The Music Night will take place on Saturday 14th November, from 7:00pm until 11:00pm.

The night will include:
-Pie and Pea Supper
-Charity Raffle
-Entertainment from the band Retribute

This week at Sight Support is Hull Fair week, where we bring Hull fair to our service users! We have set up some incredibly fun games such as Duck on a Hook, Tin can Alley and Rollerball, where everyone has a chance to win a delicious prize. As well as this, our service users have the chance to buy their favourite Hull Fair treats, including: Cinder Toffee, Nougat, and Brandy Snap!

We would like to express a big well done to Rene James for winning the Time2Volunteer 2026 Older Volunteer Award yesterday evening! We are all so grateful that we have such a dedicated volunteer to help us with our services.

The award is definitely deserved and we are all so proud!

Today is World Sight Day, let’s put eye health in focus. Our sight helps us connect with the people, places and moments that matter, so looking after it is essential.

It’s also a chance to make eye health part of everyday conversation. Whether at home, at work or in our communities, we can remind one another not to take our vision for granted and to make time for regular care.

Book a routine eye test and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Small actions today can help protect sight for the future.
