Women Ascension is a global non-profit organization advancing gender equality and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across 134 countries and every continent. Since 2021, we have worked to enhance economic stability, social inclusion, and the quality of life for women worldwide. Key Achievements:

Connected women in 134 countries through virtual platforms. Awarded 18+ scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes. Trained 26,500+ women with vocational and technical skills. Mentored 2800+ women entrepreneurs with resources and investment access. Elevated 4500+ women into leadership roles within their communities. All programmes are free of charge and delivered remotely, ensuring accessibility beyond financial or geographic barriers. Women Ascension is proud to welcome Sheba Ayinzabyonna from as our new mentor.

Sheba Ayinzabyonna is a STEM educator, technology professional, and community leader committed to expanding access to technology and creating inclusive pathways for women and girls in STEM. Drawing on her experience in education, technology, mentorship, and community building, she designs practical learning experiences that equip learners with technical skills, confidence, and career readiness.

As Lead Facilitator for the Code Queen Program at Educating the Children, Sheba leads and coordinates facilitators, mentors women in technology, and supports their transition into professional opportunities. She also serves as a Program Coordinator at Women in Data Science Uganda, contributing to initiatives that strengthen women’s participation and visibility in data and technology. Through the Girls for Girls mentorship program, she helps young women build leadership skills, confidence, and professional resilience.

Sheba is also an active speaker, volunteer, and organizer within technology communities, where she advocates for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and greater representation of women in STEM.

Dorothy Kalule Shiiya is an educator and administrative professional with over seven years of experience across Uganda and Japan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is currently pursuing studies in Business Administration as she explores a transition from education into the business field.

Her experience includes teaching learners from different age groups and backgrounds, office administration, customer service, and working in multicultural environments. Through her experiences in education, international work, further studies, and personal and professional transitions, Dorothy has developed a strong interest in continuous learning, communication, and supporting others in their personal and professional journeys.

Dorothy joins our global mission through the Women Ascension One Million Leadership Programme, uniting five continents for quality of life and sustainable economic leadership by 2030.

Maham Shakeel is a UAE-based tech content creator and influencer who collaborates with brands across the world and has been recognized among the Top 15 Tech Creators in the UAE. She brings her experience in technology, content creation, and digital influence to the Women Ascension community.

As a mentor, Maham looks forward to guiding and inspiring young women in their personal and career growth, encouraging them to build confidence, explore opportunities, and pursue their goals.
