Youth Music Wessex is an independent not-for-profit organisation dedicated to continuing and securing the Wessex ethos and traditions for generations of young musicians to come. Maintaining the familiar Wessex format, YMWes will continue to provide its high quality musical training and experiences for young musicians, via its youth orchestra, wind bands and string orchestras and music theory class

es too. With three main concerts each season, music festival performances, international concert tours, additional workshops, classes and events, and not forgetting our legendary "Centre Tuck-Shop", YMWes offers not only high quality learning, but ensures a lot of fun along the way.
