Capel St Mary School - Community Project

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped today - from the teaching staff, PFA, Capel Allotments and the wider community. With all the help we cleared the old veg plot, in the first step towards creating a wildlife garden. Raised beds were dismantled and soil and scrubby planting cleared, tree canopies raised and wildlife habitats created; bug hotels, log piles and standing logs. Thanks to all for the great work and refreshments.

Look out for further notices when you can help with the next steps of developing both the wildlife and sensory garden in the spring.

Thank you everyone for showing what can happen when a community works together.
