On Sunday 26th April 2026 Mrs Paine will be taking on the London Marathon and raising money for Great Ormand Street Hospital.

18months ago, Mrs Paine’s daughter Imaani, who is in year 1, was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome. This is a Kidney Condition when they leak protein into the urine. Mrs Paine would like to raise awareness of Nephrotic Syndrome and also show appreciation to Great Ormand Street Hospital who have been looking after Imaani throughout her journey to remission.

Sadly this term we say goodbye to Mandy Chapman FOH team member, and arguably the leader of the pack! Mandy has spent many years with Halifax School, one role being lunch time assistant whilst her own young family attended the school. Her love for the school has continued for many years, volunteering with FOH, it has to be said the success of the recent Christmas Fayres have been down to Mandy’s organisational skills and love of putting on a fabulous event for all those cute smiley faces. Mandy will be GREATLY missed as she has decided to hang up her FOH badge to take up more leisurely pursuits in seeking out the sunshine, (wherever that may be!) with a good book and glass of juice! We will miss you Mandy, you have been an inspiration, great leader and organiser, those are BIG shoes you leave behind to fill. ❤️❤️❤️
