Men’s mental health support should feel human & achievable, not clinical or shameful -

We had the honour of holding a Men’s Empowerment Circle at this year’s Hope Music Festival, and what an experience it was.

Our conversation centred around parenthood.

We explored our relationships with our own parents, what we experienced growing up, and how those experiences can shape us as men and, ultimately, as fathers ourselves.

It was an incredibly powerful topic because our parents and primary caregivers are some of the first people through whom we learn about ourselves, the world around us, relationships, safety, love and whether we are worthy of being seen, heard and accepted.

Many of those early experiences become deeply embedded within our subconscious patterns and beliefs, influencing how we see ourselves and how we show up in life long after childhood has passed.

The depth of what was shared in that circle was profound.

For some men, it brought a powerful emotional release. For others, it was the first time they had experienced what it truly felt like to be heard, seen and understood by other men.

This is why this work matters.

When we begin to release the pain, shame and old beliefs that tell us we’re not good enough, we create space for something new.

We can stop being defined by the experiences we inherited and start consciously choosing how we show up, as fathers, partners, friends and men.

Ultimately, it’s about stepping into the most empowered, authentic and fulfilled version of ourselves that we are capable of becoming.

A huge thank you to Hope Music Festival for creating the space for this conversation and allowing us to bring men together in this way.

And thank you to every man who stepped into that circle with courage, honesty and presence.

This is men’s work.
This is brotherhood.
This is how we change lives.

We’re already looking forward to bringing the men’s work back next year... bigger, deeper and even more powerful. ❤️

From one dad...

Who's constantly trying to be the best version of myself possible for my sons...

To all the other good dads trying to do the same...

Thank you for all you do and more importantly for all you are. 💪🏼🫶🏽

At times, it really does seem like the system is rigged to work against us as men, and especially as dads.

So it's more important now than ever before to remind eachother that we're not alone in this.
That it's ok as a man, and as a dad to get things wrong, not to have all the answers and even to ask for help 😱

are here to provide one the ground support in helping good men become better men. 🙏🏼

What's more British in the summertime than a game of rounders in the park?

For this month's Man Kind Movement CIC Community Connection evening, we teamed up with the incredible young men's group, Emulate, and headed over to Christchurch Park for an evening of sunshine, laughter, connection, and a healthy bit of competition.

Without a doubt, this was one of the most enjoyable events we've hosted to date.

Good weather, great company, and a fantastic game played by everyone involved.

At Man Kind Movement CIC, we believe that connection doesn't only happen by sitting in a circle. Sometimes, it happens through shared experiences, laughter, teamwork, and simply spending quality time together.

Alongside our monthly Community Connection evenings, we also host our fortnightly Meeting of Minds men's sharing circle, as well as our monthly Creative Expression evening.

We believe that growth comes through diversity. By creating different spaces for men to connect, reflect, create, and support one another, we help build stronger individuals, stronger friendships, and stronger communities.

If you're looking for a place where you can be yourself, meet like-minded men, and continue growing, we'd love to welcome you.

Join us next Monday from 7–9pm at CHIP CIC.

Why doesn't anyone care about how men feel?

Well, why don't you care 😱

Men of Ipswich.

This is your call to action.

For far too long, many men have been taught to carry life's pressures in silence. To keep a stiff upper lip. To suppress their emotions. To believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness.

It isn't.

The stigma surrounding men's mental health has left too many good men feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and believing they have nowhere to turn.

Too many reach a point where the weight they're carrying feels unbearable. They don't know what to do, they don't feel able to ask for help, and some tragically come to believe that the people they love would be better off without them.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

That is why we believe connection must come before crisis.

At Man Kind Movement CIC, we're on a mission to redefine men's mental health—changing it from something that feels clinical and shameful into something human, achievable, and rooted in connection.

Every Monday evening, we create a space where good men can connect, talk, breathe, reflect, laugh, learn, and grow together.

A place to build emotional intelligence, regulate the nervous system, discover the strength in vulnerability, and experience the power of genuine brotherhood.

Helping good men become better men.

Strength through vulnerability. Power through brotherhood.

As men, we were never taught how to feel, only how to survive.

And the cost of that has been heavy.

We learned how to stay quiet.
How to hold it together.
How to swallow everything just to get through another day.

But not how to actually feel.
Not how to process.
Not how to express.
Not how to return back home to ourselves.

And that’s why so many men feel lost, numb, angry, disconnected, or exhausted…
Not because they are weak, but because no one ever showed them how to be emotionally alive.🤔

Brother…
If this hits you in your chest, it’s because a part of you is asking to be reclaimed.
A part of you is ready to come back home to yourself.

This isn't an overnight fix.
This is a dedication to showing up weekly and doing the work in-between.

Our commitment to you is to hold the space, to hear and see you in where you are in life and where it is you want to move towards.

We are here to provide you with the tools and support needed to better yourself. Alongside the permission and safe space to start to express those heavy emotions, that perhaps you've been carrying your whole life. 🫶🏼

Enough of weak little boys in suits playing dictators leading us up sh*ts creak.

You know deep down it's time for change and that change starts with you, my brother.

I'll see you next week, if not the one after🙏🏼
All our love and support.
Together, we are stronger 💪🏼

A fear of feelings and emotions is a real thing, and sometimes, the inability to feel through them actually leads some men to end their own lives.

If we hold it all in, try doing it all alone and put everyone else's happiness before our own, eventually the weight becomes too heavy, the loneliness too great and the lack of self worth to all consuming, that ending it all seems like the only way out.

The world would be a better place without me, as I'm such a failure as a man...
That is a repeating thought I had bouncing about in my head for months.

The knowledge that the reason you care so much is because your such a caring person might not end the heavy thoughts and feelings, but it's a start point.

To stop them, you have to actually embrace them, question them, reframe them, and move through them.

You have to feel it to heal it, bro. And if you're ready to start to feel through those pains of old you're still carrying, we're here to feel through it with you.

Emotional intelligence is the new form of strength that is being asked from us men.
And that's what we're all about.

Strength in vulnerability and power in brotherhood.

When I first met Jake over the park nine months ago, he was in a very different place in his life.

Through consistent involvement in the Man Kind Movement, he’s rebuilt grounding, confidence, and direction. He’s now in employment, stronger in himself, and moving through life with clarity, stability, and drive that wasn’t there before.

This is what happens when men are supported properly, in real community, with real brotherhood.

It's clear that a lot of men feel disempowered, disconnected from themselves, and unsure of where to stand or what to do.

When men come back into themselves, taking responsibility for their inner world, their grounding, and their clarity, everything around them begins to shift.

That’s what this work is really about. Not chasing anything outside of you, but returning to your own strength, presence, and steadiness.

Man Kind Movement exists for that exact reason. To help good men become better men.

Please come along to one of our Men’s Empowerment Monday evening sessions at the Chip Hub in Ipswich, 7–9pm. Meet other good men who care and be part of something truly transformational.

If you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or like something in life isn’t quite right, you’re not alone in that, and more importantly, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

That’s what this work is about, and that’s what the world needs: more grounded, self- empowered, emotionally intelligent men.

Come and be part of the brotherhood.
