Man Kind Movement CIC was invited by to stay after store closing time to learn about and hold some of their amazing animals.

It was such an amazing experience, we're sharing it twice.

Once a month we get out into the community to connect, support and help make our home town a nicer place for all to live.

This month's outing was attending and personaly, I feel this was our most enjoyable and powerful community connection experience to date.

Watching the men's eyes light up, and their inner boy come out to play for perhaps the first time in years for some men who attend, it's something truly special to be part of.

Thank you to all the amazing staff at for helping make this happen and a special thanks to the Manager Rickie for helping create life long memories for all of us.

Ipswich is a amazing place to live and local shops like should be celebrated for their personal touch, support and the love they provide their animals and customers alike.

Thank you all.

One People, One Planet, One Love 🌍

And sometimes, all we need to remind us of this simple yet powerful truth is a little hug 🫂

Or for some a fist pump 👊🏼

Thank you Ipswich, we love you all 🫶🏽

Creative Expression Week 🎨

Week two of our rolling monthly schedule is our Creative Expression week within the Man Kind Movement CIC men’s empowerment evenings.

Weeks one and three are our “Meeting of Minds” sharing circles, where men come together in honest conversation, reflection, and brotherhood.

Week two shifts the energy into expression, creativity, and reconnection.

This week, we introduced a simple invitation to the group: step outside for 5–10 minutes, slow everything down, and take photographs of whatever naturally caught your attention. Something that sparked curiosity. Something that felt alive.

Men then returned to share what they had captured, and more importantly, why.

What followed was powerful.

Two members also shared personal artwork and photography, offering a deeper glimpse into how creativity lives within us when we give it space.

Experiences like this are not about “making art”. They are about reawakening something often forgotten in adulthood.
Curiosity, play, presence, and the ability to see beauty in ordinary moments.

So often, men are conditioned into constant doing, producing, and surviving. Spaces like this allow something different to emerge.
A return to expression, imagination, and inner stillness.

This is where reconnection begins.

Next week, Week Four, we move into Community Connection.

Last month we went litter picking in the town centre. This month, we have been invited to to
spend time with the animals, before heading to Crushes Park for a shared afternoon of rounders, football, and connection outdoors.

As this falls on bank holiday Monday, we’ll begin slightly earlier at 4pm at Viking Aquatics, before moving on together at 5pm to Christchurch Park (the large flat area near the playground), and continuing the afternoon from there.

We will then close the evening together from around 7pm, either at the studio or locally as a group.

If you would like to attend or learn more, please reach out or visit the link in the bio.

We meet every Monday evening 7-9pm at 15 Princes Street, Ipswich.

What do you honestly think creates more positive change in a country…

Flying flags in the name of patriotism and arguing online…
Or getting out and connecting with your local community?

We decided to fo into our local town center and offered hugs to strangers.

What happened next was far more powerful than we expected.

Some people hesitated.
Others smiled instantly.
Some opened up and shared how much they genuinely needed that feeling of human connection.
All felt genuinely seen and accepted.

The truth is, underneath all the politics, religion, labels, stress, pressure, division, and noise…

Something very simple became obvious.

Most people want the same things.

To feel seen.
To feel heard.
To feel valued.
To feel safe.
To feel loved.

No matter where someone is from or what they believe politically or religiously, beneath the surface we are far more alike than we are different.

The same air moves through our lungs.
The same blood moves through our our veins.

And maybe that’s part of the problem with the modern world…

Too many people have forgotten each other.

Too much focus on what divides us.
Not enough focus on our shared humanity.

Because human connection is natural and it should be cherished, protected, and celebrated.

We are stronger together.
Always have been and we always will be.

It’s Mental Health Week, and at Man Kind Movement we’re proud to be helping change the face of men’s mental health in Ipswich and the wider area.

Moving it away from shame, silence, and “just getting on with it”, and towards something human, supportive, achievable, and openly spoken about.

Because the reality is, every single man faces struggles at some point in life.

Stress, Anxiety, Burnout, Isolation, Self-medication, Relationship struggles, Lack of purpose.
Feeling like we have to carry everything silently on our own, as that'swhat we saw growing up!

And the truth is, these things are far easier to overcome together than they are alone.

Man Kind Movement is more than a talking group.

It’s an active support network and brotherhood helping men improve their lives from the ground up through:
• Men’s circles
• Breathwork & meditation
• Creative expression
• Daily WhatsApp support
• Online wellbeing resources
• Community activities & connection

This week is our creative expression evening, and this month we’ll also be visiting before heading to Christchurch Park for sports, movement, and connection outdoors together.

Huge thank you to for supporting last month’s community litter pick by providing PPE equipment.

Being vulnerable isn’t weak.
In many ways, it’s some of the hardest work a man can do.

This is what being active in our mental health looks like:
Action. Brotherhood. Growth. Support. Connection.

What a week.
What a day.

What a beautiful gift life is when we treat it that way.

Yes shot happens in life, but the s**t life throws at us doesn't define us...
It's what we do with it that counts.

S**t, you can either carry it around with you, or sweep it under the rug out of sight, but either way it creates a hostile and putrid environment for yourself and those around you.

But there is another way. S**t in the right hands can be turned into fertilizer, to grow your seeds of intention within, helping you grow the garden of your mind more beautiful that it ever could be within that s**t.

here to help you learn how to turn the pains of the past into the fuel for positive change.

helping good men become better men.
