Understanding Coercive Control.

As part of our ongoing support, Lighthouse delivers online workshops for clients around specific aspects of domestic abuse.

On Monday Sophie, one of our Advice Workers delivered a session around Coercive Controlling Behaviour, this session discussed:

* What is Coercive Control
* How to identify if you are being coercively controlled
* Coercive control methods
* Taking septs to manage being coercively controlled

This session gives a more in-depth insight into this type of abusive behaviour and allows the clients to recognise more clearly that coercive control played a part in their relationship and and raises red flags to look out for in future relationships.
