As we approach another busy weekend for the Woolverstone Project I’ve finally go around to posting something from last weekend, and what an amazing weekend that was!
Saturday saw a new enhanced ‘Sax on the water’ performance in support of the Woolverstone Berth Holders Association Pontoon Party by ‘Lost@C’, a saxophone quartet made up of Woolverstone Project volunteers and friends of the project.
Thank you to the Woolverstone Marina and Lodge Park for hosting the event and for the support of MoniMar Cafe Restaurant, Fox's Yacht Sales, Royal Harwich Yacht Club, for Cellice (Cellice.co.uk) for providing the Dry Ice for ‘that’ song and for for its safe and effective deployment!
Also to ‘Covered Up’ the band on Georgina T for the music and the fantastic Supergroup moment on ‘Hit the road Jack’
Thank you for all of you who have sent me photos and videos.. too many to post here but maybe I’ll do a compilation when I get an hour or two..
Sunday was another in our series of river wild life trips supported by a grant for SEND school pupils and their families. Another fantastic day and I learnt so much from our knowledgable wildlife experts Dougal and Steve.
The highlight for me was watching the Orwell Bridge resident Peregrine Falcon swoop down from its perch on one of the bridge towers.
