The League of friends of Ilkeston Community hospital are very excited to welcome Cox to our Memory Matters Cafe this week 4th November.

Courtney is a solo vocalist and is looking forward to entertaining us with songs through the decades.

We also have Bingo with Jo and chair exercises with Sarah along with our usual raffle, tea, coffee and biscuits served by our wonderful League volunteers.

We look forward to seeing you in Charnos hall from from 1pm- 3.30pm 😊

What a great afternoon we all had today.

A big thank you to Andy and Emma Quinn who were amazing.

Emma had us all learning the dance moves to some great songs of the 1950s and Andy sang some pure classics that had us toe tapping and up on the dance floor too.

As always a massive thankyou to all our volunteers busy behind the scenes keeping it all running 👏👏👏🥰

The League of Friends of Ilkeston Community Hospital are sending their best wishes and good luck to Lucy Marton who is running in the Yorkshire Marathon tomorrow.

We feel very privileged that Lucy has chosen The Memory Matters Cafe as her Charity this year.

All funds raised will enable us to continue supporting our members with great afternoons of entertainment.

What a great afternoon was had by all.

Mikes quiz was a success and Claire Huspeth entertained us all with songs across the decades.
Lots of singing and dancing and having fun.

The League of Friends of Ilkeston Community Hospital look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday 7th October 1-3.30pm in Charnos Hall.

A slight change to the plan this week as we will now be having a fun quiz hosted by Mick followed by Claire Huspeth who will be getting everyone up dancing and singing along.

Come along and see us for a great afternoon of entertainment ran by our marvellous volunteers.

The League of friends of Ilkeston Community hospital would like to say a massive thank you to Marion’s granddaughter Lucy who in four weeks time is running the Yorkshire marathon to raise money for The Memory Matters Cafe.

We wish her luck and look forward to seeing you after the event.

The League of Friends of Ilkeston Community Hospital would like to
thank everyone who came along today to the memory matters cafe.

Julie and Jane of Fybro Active gave us a wonderful demonstration on Tai Chi which was very informative.

Special thanks go to Karl Howard who stepped in at short notice and had the whole room singing and dancing.

Thank you also to our fabulous volunteers who keep it all together behind the scenes 👏👏👏👏👏

The League of friends of Ilkeston Community Hospital welcome Lauren Thirland tomorrow to our cafe.

This will be the first time Lauren has performed for us so let’s give her a big welcome.

We have bingo, chair exercises, raffle, tea, coffee and biscuits as well as our wonderful volunteers to ensure everyone has a great afternoon.
